Football: Kyle ready to end Sky Blues misery.


SCOTLAND striker Kevin Kyle Kevin Kyle (born 7 June 1981) is a Scottish football striker. He currently plays for English club Coventry City.

After breaking into the Sunderland first team in the 2003-2004 season he ended up finishing as their joint top goal scorer with 16 goals.
 is determined to get his career back on track at Coventry this season.

The former Sunderland targetman has been dogged by injury, illness and off-field problems since switching to the Ricoh Arena Inaugural events
The arena became the venue for Coventry City's home games at the start of the 2005-06 season, following 106 years at the Highfield Road stadium. The first competitive football match played at the Ricoh Arena was against Queens Park Rangers on 20 August 2005, in
 last year.

But Kyle put himself through a rigorous pre-season training regime and is ready to prove the doubters wrong.

He said: "I was disappointed last season because I was a new signing and didn't always live up to expectations.

"After the holidays it was my aim to come back in shape. My main priority is to maintain the standards I have set."
