Football: Blatter in peace call to Zidane.

The pair clashed infamously during the World Cup final when Zidane was sent off for headbutting the Italian defender, who had insulted the France captain's sister. FIFA president Sepp Blatter said: "We are working on bringing together Zidane and Materazzi, perhaps that they should go together to Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was held in prison for 27 years.

"We are definitely working on it and that would bring an end to the story."
