Football: Big guns move for teenager.

PORTUGESE wonderkid Nani has revealed he is desperate to move to England after becoming the centre of a pounds 12m transfer battle between Tottenham and Manchester United.

Mirror Sport revealed on Saturday that Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy Daniel Levy is a name shared by many and can refer to:

 and sporting director Damien Commoli will meet with Sporting Lisbon this week to try and beat United to sign 20-year-old Nani.

But it is now Martin Jol Maarten Cornelius "Martin" Jol (born January 16, 1956) is a Dutch former professional football player, and the current head coach of Tottenham Hotspur in the English FA Premier League.  and big-spending Tottenham who have stolen a march on United as they look to follow up the pounds 10m signing of Southampton left back Gareth Bale, 17, with a swoop for Nani and Charlton's pounds 10m rated Darren Bent.

Nani has recently turned down a new deal at Sporting Lisbon and wants to move to the Premiership.

Nani said: "Sporting know my opinion about this subject. If an offer arrives which offers a good opportunity for me for my career and football, I want to talk about it."
