Barrett played 22 times for the Dragons last term and was an integral part of manager Denis Smith's plans until he was sidelined by a hernia injury. And after a stuttering start to his Racecourse career, the 25-year-old believes he is finally hitting his stride at Wrexham. ``I've settled here now,'' he said.``I think over the last year I've matured more than ever and I just hope that was beginning to show in my game. I know there is still more to come and that's why I was pleased to get a new contract so I can continue to develop.''
