Football: Bank on Knitters to draw...HINCKLEY UNITED are quickly becoming the Nationwide North's draw specialists after 1-1 returns at the Marstons Stadium against Stalybridge last Saturday and, more controversially, at lowly low·ly adj. low·li·er, low·li·est 1. Having or suited for a low rank or position. 2. Humble or meek in manner. 3. Plain or prosaic in nature. adv. 1. Redditch on Tuesday. The Knitters have more draws to their name than any other outfit in the division but without doubt it was the two dropped points at Redditch that have caused manager Dean Thomas the most upset. Redditch, third from bottom in the Nationwide North, snatched the equaliser deep into injury time and it came after one of their number had gone down injured in·jure tr.v. in·jured, in·jur·ing, in·jures 1. To cause physical harm to; hurt. 2. To cause damage to; impair. 3. , forcing a halt in play. United did not contest the drop ball and, in waiting for the home side to return the ball to them, watched in horror as they went on an attack which resulted in Leigh Platnauer turning the ball into his own net. And Thomas was in no doubt where he felt the blame lay. "I told the referee A judicial officer who presides over civil hearings but usually does not have the authority or power to render judgment. Referees are usually appointed by a judge in the district in which the judge presides. at the end of the game that I thought the match was too big for him and that he got too many things wrong," he said. "The referee tried to deny that he had done anything wrong but when I went to see him he said he was under pressure and in those circumstances anyone can make a wrong decision. He completely contradicted himself!" Refereeing controversies aside, it is clear that United need to start turning half chances into the full-blown three points and to this end, Thomas has bolstered his strike force for the push to the end of the season. On loan, he has brought in Tristan Whitman from Tamworth as well as former United regular, Matt Lewis. Thomas said: "Tristan has done well at Tamworth and as well as looking quick and exciting he also puts in the hard work. "Matt just phoned me up and said he wanted to come back. Two years ago he cost us pounds 5,000 but since then he has lost his way a bit. "He has under achieved but now he seems determined to prove his worth and develop his undoubted un·doubt·ed adj. Accepted as beyond question; undisputed. See Synonyms at authentic. un·doubt ed·ly adv. potential."
