The 25-year-old has put pen to paper on a pounds 680,000 two-year deal with a further 12 months option in the club's favour after completing his move from Dyskobolia Grodzisk.

Slusarski started his career at Polish minor league side Huragan before enjoying spells with top flight-clubs Lech Lech (lĕkh), river, c.175 mi (280 km) long, rising in Vorarlberg, W Austria, and flowing NE into S Germany past Augsburg to the Danube River. The Wertach River is its chief tributary.  Poznan and Widzew Lodz, before linking up with Dyskobolia.

He had opportunities from two Bundesliga clubs last summer before opting for a move to Portugal.

He has scored 34 goals in 114 games, winning two caps for Poland.

Slusarski signed too late for today's match at Sheffield United but is likely to play a part in Tuesday's game at Peterborough if he gets international clearance in time.
