JOHN BROWN has emerged as a top contender to become the new boss of Clyde.

The former Rangers Rapidly deployable airborne light infantry organized and trained to conduct highly complex joint direct action operations in coordination with or in support of other special operations units of all Services.  star is being courted by the Broadwood club as their choice to replace Joe Miller.

The complex was first proposed by the then manager Dick Advocaat when he arrived at the club in 1998.  where he was coach to Rangers' reserves.

The Cumbernauld outfit will make a decision next week when the appointment of Brown could be rubber stamped.
