Football: BREW WANTS WALLACE.

Lee Wallace (born 21 August 1987, in Edinburgh) is a professional football player currently playing for Heart of Midlothian in the Scottish Premier League.

Boss Craig Brewster has targeted Wallace, 18, for a loan move to Tayside next season.

The Arabs, who will today unveil summer signings Steven Robb, Noel Hunt and Craig Conway, are keen on the Jambos youngster becoming part of Brew's new-look team, with pre-season training set to start next Monday.

Wallace is highly rated at Tynecastle but has been dislodged since the arrival of Greek international Taskis Fyssas.

Brewster is due to arrive back from holiday on Wednesday, when he plans to step up his signing spree. He said: "I'm looking for competition in all areas of the park and Lee's one we're waiting to hear back on."
