The Adelaide-born player made his senior international debut against Singapore last month, but his current deal expires at the end of the season.

The 19-year-old spent some time on trial with Dutch outfit Roda FC this season, and finished off the reserve-team campaign against Manchester United last night in a 1-1 draw.

He said today: "I'll have a chat with the manager about my future. "I haven't done that yet because we've been concentrating on staying up.

"I would like to play in the first team a bit more.

"It's been tough, but maybe next season I can play some first-team football.

"Whether it will be on loan, I don't know."

And speaking on recent experiences of playing against Manchester United and making his Aussie debut, Troisi said: "It's always a big thing to play Man United, and I thought we did quite well.

"It was fantastic to play for Australia - it's always good to go away with the Australian team.

"They are a good bunch of lads and I was happy to make my debut.

"But to play more you need to play at club level regularly."
