Football: Ancients run comes to an end; FOCUS ON LOCAL FOOTBALL WELSH PREMIER.


NEWI NEWI North East Wales Institute of Higher Education  CEFN DRUIDS saw their recent revival come to an end when they were edged out l-o at home to Haverfordwest.

The Ancients had improved their fortunes of late with a five-match unbeaten run, including three cup wins, but were sunk by a 25th-minute goal from defender Lee Jarman Lee Jarman (born 16th December 1977, Cardiff) is a Welsh footballer. A centre-half, he joined Cardiff City from Merthyr before moving on to Exeter and Oxford. In May 2007 he joined Newport County from Weston-super-Mare A.F.C.

To add to the misery, midfielder Ricky Evans Ricky Evans is a former Welsh rugby player.
