MOLD Alex stayed in touch with the Welsh National The Welsh National is a Grade 3 National Hunt horse race in the United Kingdom for five-year-old and above horses. It is run over a distance of 3 miles 5½ furlongs (5,934 metres) at Chepstow Racecourse, Wales in late December.  League Premier Division leaders after securing a 1-0 win over Castell AC.

Alex had to wait until the 84th minute before Wes Brereton clinched their third win of the campaign.

Early Leaders Brymbo are five points clear at the top after continuing their winning start with a 5-2 verdict over Borras Park.
