Football: Stour boss pleased to get Hadley.

STOURBRIDGE boss Gary Hackett has slapped highly-promising Kyle Hadley on an 18-month contract with the Amblecote side.

Hadley (pictured) has impressed Hackett since switching to Stourbridge from local West Midlands League side Lye Town.

Hackett confirmed: "Kyle has shown a great deal of promise and has adjusted well by stepping up a couple of levels.

"He has relished the challenge, but still has a great deal to learn."

Another former Lye Town player now on board at Stourbridge, striker Rob Taylor, continued his comeback by turning out for tenants Causeway United.

Hackett will also send Ross Collins and Paul Danks out on loan this weekend with Brierley Hill Town as Stourbridge have no fixture.

The Glassboys boss claimed: "I always like to help out my local sides whenever I can. It's good for them and good for us."
