Football: In Russ to go home.

FORMER Hibs striker Garry O'Connor has admitted he wants to quit Lokomotiv Moscow this month.

However, the Russians are set to play hard ball and refuse him permission to go out on loan.

They have reluctantly agreed to move him on - but only if they can recoup the pounds 1.6million they paid Hibs less than 12 months ago.

O'Connor claims he has options in the Premiership but interested clubs must fork out to land him in a permanent deal, according to sources in Russia.

O'Connor, 23, claims it's the failure of his partner Lisa to settle in Russia that has forced his hand and said: "I've decided to leave, my departure is now just a matter of time."
