MIDDLESBROUGH'S only produce and flower centre is based at Barton Road in the Riverside Industrial Park.

Established in 2002 the company recently relocated to a brand new 16,000sqft facility.

The business is split up into three sector specific companies: ORIGINAL FLOWER COMPANY which supplies fresh-cut flowers and plants from around the world to the region's florists. They also carry an extensive range of florist sundries including glassware and pottery. A delivery service is available and visits from the mobile sales van can also be arranged.

ORIGINAL PRODUCE COMPANY better known as OPC, it specialises in supplying fresh fruit, vegetables and salad to wholesalers and retail outlets. The company works closely with its local and global suppliers to provide a price and quality range to satisfy customers.

QUALITY FOOD SERVICE was established primarily to supply fresh fruit, vegetables and salads to the catering industry. After completing market research, the company introduced many complementary product groups, including bakery, cheese, dairy and its new improved speciality provisions. In addition to this they have also added convenience to their range by offering prepared products.

For QFS the objective is simple: to provide consistency of quality, continuity of product and competitive pricing.

Wherever possible they will attempt to provide locally produced products. However it does have a global network of approved sources to ensure year-round availability of products.

It goes without saying that it is important that the product reaches you in optimum condition and naturally they will be transported from their temperature-controlled environment direct to your door in refrigerated vehicles.
