Food 'out of this world'.

BEAM me up for brekkie!

Forget your traditional kitchen cooked grub.

Midlands hotels will be dishing up hot food prepared 24 hours a day using technology pioneered by NASA.

Guests staying at the Holiday Inn Express Hotels at the NEC and Castle Bromwich can tuck into a full English, pizzas, savoury slices and chips, within 30 seconds, using the space technology.

The scheme has already been rolled out across 2,000 locations in the USA.

Clive Nicholls, operations director of Butterfly Hotels, Castle Bromwich Holiday Inn Express, said: "We are always looking for ways to improve the service we provide our guests to ensure that we are their preferred choice."
