the money to the DAV because she knew it would be put to good use to help disabled veterans.

This year, NSO Cabarrus received another donation. This time, 11-year-old Christina Craig added her earnings from the sale of her 4-H hog to Foster Construction at the county fair in Greenup, Ky., to Rachel's contribution. Together the girls donated $603.10 to help disabled veterans.

Rachel and Christina live with their younger sister Angela and parents, Terry and Sandy Craig, in Greenup, Ky. Terry and Sandy have made an effort to teach their children the value of America's veterans and their role in securing and maintaining freedom for our nation.

"Rachel started donating her money and I kinda Adv. 1. kinda - to some (great or small) extent; "it was rather cold"; "the party was rather nice"; "the knife is rather dull"; "I rather regret that I cannot attend"; "He's rather good at playing the cello"; "he is kind of shy"

"I had a chance to meet the Craig family and thank them for their previous contributions to the DAV and was most impressed with Rachel and Christina on their awareness of the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and their willingness to donate so generously to the DAV. They are remarkable young women."
