Folgers Launches New AromaSeal Canister; An Innovative 'First' in Coffee Packaging.

CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 21, 2003

Folgers(R) introduces a revolutionary new package for coffee, the AromaSeal(TM) Canister, a specially-designed plastic canister that provides fresh aroma and taste day after day and is easy to use. Folgers is the first manufacturer to package roast and ground coffee in a plastic container. Available nationwide beginning in September 2003, the new packaging will ultimately replace all Folgers metal coffee cans.

One of the benefits of the AromaSeal(TM) Canister is a unique snap-tight lid and one-way valve that helps preserve freshness and seal air out (U.S. patent pending). The new canister has a specially designed, easy-grip handle and peel-off seal for greater convenience. It is also easy to use and safe to open; consumers need not worry about can-openers or sharp edges.
