Folate and breast cancer.

 is a 400 microgram miracle. The researchers at Harvard School of Public Health The Harvard School of Public Health is (colloquially, HSPH) is one of the professional graduate schools of Harvard University. Located in Longwood Area of the Boston, Massachusetts neighborhood of Mission Hill, next to Harvard Medical School and Cambridge, Massachusetts,  believe folate is linked to a reduced risk of breast cancer in women whose risk is elevated due to alcohol consumption. Folate has already been shown to reduce colon cancer risk, risk of heart disease, and to reduce the risk of neural tube defects Neural tube defects

 in infants. In the case of this nutrient, research has shown that the supplement form of folic acid, or folate, is more effective in reducing risk of disease than the folic acid found in fresh fruits and vegetables.

Exercise, of course, has also been shown to reduce the risk of both heart disease and breast cancer. So keep running and make sure to add a multivitamin that includes folate to your regular diet, especially if you consume alcohol regularly.
