 to provide the highest level of user comfort. Mack's Safe Sound Foam Earplugs have a decibel decibel (dĕs`əbĕl', –bəl), abbr. dB, unit used to measure the loudness of sound. It is one tenth of a bel (named for A. G. Bell), but the larger unit is rarely used.  rating of 29, which provides exceptional hearing protection while allowing reasonable communication. Unlike some similar yellow and orange earplugs that are made for factory compliance purposes, Safe Sound Foam Earplugs are colored in fashionable teal teal: see duck.
