China Southern Airlines (NYSE:ZNH) (HKSE:1055), the largest airline in the People's Republic of China, is celebrating a successful first year of 747-400 cargo service between Chicago and Shenzhen marked with an added cargo stop in Shanghai, China.

China Southern Airlines' freight service between the United States and China operates three times weekly using a Boeing 747-400 all-cargo aircraft.

There have been many major milestones during China Southern 's first year, including:

-- Opening offline dropoff stations with Alliance Airlines

-- Direct service from Chicago to Shanghai and continuing 747-400 freight
