Flurry of deals for Cushman & Wakefield's Sean Brady.

Five recent New Jersey office leases, renewals and expansions finished out an active year for Sean Brady, a senior director at Cushman & Wakefield's New Jersey headquarters in East Rutherford.

Brady served as tenant representative in the transactions, which total 29,000 s/f and span New Jersey's Bergen, Hudson, Union and Middlesex counties. Brady also completed a significant 358,700 s/f in out-of-state activity for a national account during the year.

W.H. Reaves & Company, an investment manager, renewed its 7,500 s/f, multi-year lease at 10 Exchange Place in Jersey City, Hudson County. Brady worked on the transaction with Cushman & Wakefield's Peter Van Duyne. David Stifelman and Dave DeMatteis of Cushman & Wakefield (East Rutherford) serve as exclusive agents for 10 Exchange Place.

Working with Ed Duenas (East Rutherford), Brady negotiated a lease buyout for American Water Company at 600 South Street in Westfield, Union County. Farer Fersko took over 7,000 s/f of the company's 14,000 s/f space at the building, which is owned by Murray Construction. Jeff Siegel served as in-house representative for Murray Construction. Turner Surety & Insurance Brokerage, Inc. added 5,000 s/f to its office at 50 Tice Boulevard in Woodcliff Lake, Bergen County. Owner, Mack-Cali, represented in-house by Chris DeLorenzo and Glenn DiGiacomo.

Brady and C&W's Bob Sheehy (Long Island, N.Y.) negotiated a multi-year, 4,000 s/f lease for Security Co., at 116 Corporate Boulevard in South Plainfield. Dave Zimmel of Zimmel Associates represented the owner in the transaction.

Brady negotiated a 3,000 s/f lease renewal for Werdann DeVito, LLC at 1099 Wall Street West in Lyndhurst. Denholtz Associates owns the Meadowlands Corporate Center building, and Steve Geltzeiler represented the owner in the multi-year transaction.

Brady and Cushman & Wakefield's Scott Vinnett (Manhattan) negotiated a 2,500 s/f multi-year lease for Smith & Carson at 475 Market Street in Elmwood Park, Bergen County. Owner, Alfred Sanzari Enterprises was repped in house by Frank Pratt.

Brady also completed an active year as exclusive real estate services provider for SHPS Inc., a national health management outsourcing company based in Louisville, Ky. He handles the firm's needs across the United States with Trip Hoffman of Cushman & Wakefield's Stamford, Conn., office.

The most significant assignments Brady and Hoffman completed for SHPS during the year included a 165,000 s/f renewal at 11405 Bluegrass Parkway, and a 60,000 s/f expansion and renewal at Hurstbourne Park, 9200 Shelbyville Road. The team also completed industrial transactions totaling 56,000 s/f for the firm in Louisville. Rich Ashton and Jeff Dreher (Louisville) of Commercial Kentucky, a member of the C&W Alliance, assisted.

Brady and Hoffman also orchestrated the relocation of SHPS' Scottsdale, Ariz., offices to a brand-new, two-story 65,000 s/f office building constructed by Opus West in the Calendar Stick Business Park. C&W's Don Rodie (Phoenix) assisted locally.
