Tecnoflon fluoroelastomers are featured in this 16-page, four-color brochure. Some of Tecnoflon's most important characteristics are said to be excellent chemical and thermal resistance, low permeability and excellent resistance to atmospheric agents, especially in oxygen and ozone, according to the literature. Because of these qualities, Tecnoflon can be used in the automotive, aerospace, chemical, mining, oil and semiconductor industries. The main products derived from Tecnoflon are gaskets, oil seals, o-rings, pipes and diaphragms. Ionic curable fluoroelastomers are said to offer a wide range of grades for all industrial applications and technologies, including custom-made products. Tecnoflon HS is said to offer particularly advanced characteristics, including a drastic reduction in post-cure times, vulcanization without calcium hydroxide, excellent processing properties and high thermal stability and scorch safety, according to the literature. Tecnoflon perfluorelastomers are peroxide curable.
