FloWizard V2.1 introduces important new capabilities to designers, such as new CAD connections for Pro/ENGINEER, SolidWorks, and UGS' NX, allowing users to send their models to FloWizard with the click of a button. These connections include unique model preparation and model checking tools that assist users in efficiently transforming their CAD models into CFD results. CAD connections also ensure that FloWizard fits seamlessly into today's virtual design processes within global engineering organizations. The software also includes a new rotating machinery model to predict the flow and pressure field in pumps, fans, turbines, and impellers. This dramatically expands the scope of problems that designers can analyze with FloWizard. The product is fully upwardly compatible to the popular software, FLUENT 6.2, the world's most widely used CFD tool.
