The new pre-activation signaling function is expected to help Competitive Edge Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs) and other network service providers rollout SDSL services to customers faster and more easily than ever before.

AutoDetect SDSL enables Copper Mountain's CopperEdge(TM) DSL Concentrators to automatically determine the maximum speed a local loop can sustain by working in conjunction with the FlowPoint 2200-16 Symetrical Digital Subscriber Line See DSL.

In addition to supporting AutoDetect SDSL, the FlowPoint 2200-16 Router is also compatible with Copper Mountain's CopperView(TM) system for managing central office, multi-tenant building and customer premise equipment.

The FlowPoint 2200-16 Router is available through select ISPs and FlowPoint's WebStore (http://webstore.flowpoint.com), with a suggested retail price of $599.
