Florida Lottery Announces Entry Deadline for Second Chance Drawing.

The Florida Lottery announced today that the entry deadline for the VACATION CASH Second Chance Drawing is Wednesday, February 25, at midnight, 12 p.m. EST. Players who have a non-winning VACATION CASH Scratch-Off ticket may still logon http://www.flalottery.com and enter to win a Florida vacation prize package.
More than 420,000 non-winning VACATION CASH Scratch-Off tickets have been entered into the Second Chance promotion since it began on September 11, 2003. Forty vacation packages to locations throughout Florida will be awarded to the lucky winners. The computerized drawings will be held on February 26, at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. Winners will be notified by telephone or certified mail on or before March 11. The listing of winners can be viewed on the Florida Lottery Web site by clicking on the VACATION CASH icon.
Since 1999, the Florida Lottery has transferred $3.7 billion to the Florida Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF). This brings the Lottery's commitment to education revenue transfers to more than $13 billion to date. The Florida Lottery was created in 1986 for the purpose of enabling the people of our state to benefit from significant additional moneys for education.
