Florida International Terminal LLC Selects Tideworks Technology; FIT Becomes Third Tideworks Customer in Port of Port Everglades.

SEATTLE -- Tideworks Technology(R) Inc., a leading provider of full-service terminal management and planning software solutions for terminal operators, has been selected by Florida International Terminal (FIT) to provide terminal operations solutions and professional IT services for managing container activities at their facility in Port Everglades, Florida. FIT joins Tideworks' growing customer base in the region as Tideworks' third customer in the Port of Port Everglades, and fourth customer in South Florida.

FIT has deployed the latest versions of Tideworks' Mainsail Terminal Management System(R), Mainsail(TM) Online, Spinnaker Planning Management System(R), and Forecast(TM).

FIT's current container volume is 40,000 container lifts per year, and volume is expected to soon increase to 60,000 container lifts per year. The FIT facility is 36 acres and has access to five berths and five post-Panamax gantry cranes. Steamship line customers include CSAV, CCNI, Hamburg Sud, Hanjin, Zim, K-Line, MOL, and Columbia Coastal.

Spinnaker's intuitive user interface is designed to maximize the efficiency of terminal operations, increasing cargo volume and reducing vessel turn time.

--Forecast: Forecast helps terminals communicate faster and easier with trucking companies, shippers, consignees, brokers, and other parties. The system provides online tracking of cargo and real-time information such as import container availability, vessel schedules, activity reports, and booking statuses. Forecast aims to provide the terminal with faster gate turn times and reduced customer service costs. For the shipping community, Forecast is designed to improve planning and resource management, resulting in hassle free gate transactions and less calls to the terminal.
