RUTLAND - Florence O. (Thibeault) Merchant, 64, died on Friday, Sept. 25, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer ovarian cancer

Malignant tumour of the ovaries. Risk factors include early age of first menstruation (before age 12), late onset of menopause (after age 52), absence of pregnancy, presence of specific genetic mutations, use of fertility drugs, and personal history of breast
 and from a broken heart after losing the love of her life and husband of 44 years, Richard "Dick" L. Merchant to cancer last Wednesday.

She leaves two sons, Richard "Rick" Merchant and his wife, Tabitha, of Rutland and Dean Merchant and his wife, Shannon, of Rindge, N.H.; a daughter, Tammy Lloyd and her husband, Brian, of Rindge; two brothers, Richard Thibeault and his wife, Phyllis, of Boylston and William Thibeault and his wife, Lillian, of Rutland; a sister, Helen Trottier and her husband, Donald, of Jefferson; five grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations. The children of one's children. Sometimes these may claim bequests given in a will to children, though in general they can make no such claim. 6 Co. 16. , Joshua, Jessica and Joseph Merchant, Breana and Spencer Lloyd. A brother, Paul Thibeault, predeceased her.

She was born in Holden, a daughter of Josephat and Eva (LeBlanc) Thibeault, and lived in Rutland for many years. She was a graduate of Wachusett Regional High School Wachusett Regional High School (abbv. WRHS) is located in Holden, Massachusetts and services the Wachusett Regional School District founded in 1955. The WRSD comprises Holden, Paxton, Princeton, Rutland, and Sterling.  and Broms Academy in Worcester.

Since 1972, Mrs. Merchant, along with her husband and son, were owners and operators of Dick's Auto Body in Rutland and Holden. Previously, she worked at Lee Salon, Lorners Shop, Vellumoid Inc. in Worcester and for many years as a nanny. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church St. Patrick's Church, or Saint Patrick Church or other variations on the name, may refer to:
