Floor Decor, Inc. Reports Increased 2nd Quarter Sales; ``Home Depot Type'' Concept for Carpet and Flooring Announces Record Sales.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 14, 2001

Floor Decor, Inc. (OTCBB:FLOR) today reported a 22.6% increase in second quarter sales to $744,360 for the period ended June 30, 2001 from $607,141 for the prior three months in 2001. The Company also reported a loss of $380,515 or 0.007 per share in the second quarter. The Company did not have any comparable information for the six months ended June 30, 2001 as it commenced operations in July 2000.
