Floods wreak havoc.RAIN brought flood chaos to parts of Scotland yesterday with roads and rail lines closed and flights delayed by the downpour. The north-east bore the brunt, with the main Aberdeen- Inverness rail line left under several feet of water in Moray Moray, alternate spelling of Murray Moray. At Rothes on Speyside, council workmen brought in sandbags to stop homes being flooded. More than 30 flights at Aberdeen were delayed or diverted when the runway instrument landing system failed and weather hampered engineers. In Lochaber, mountain rescuers searched for a hillwaker missing since Wednesday. The 64-year-old man from Aberdeen failed to return to his holiday accommodation from a walk in the Hills of Gulvain at Loch Arkaig, near Fort William.
