Flooded out NHS staff to lose pay; BRITAIN.


HOSPITAL staff who could not get to work because of flooding will have to take unpaid leave or holiday to cover for the time they missed, health chiefs confirmed yesterday.

But health unions have reportedly received 50 complaints from workers who believe they are being unreasonably penalised after they were prevented from reaching hospitals because of the floods.
