Flint Ink presents Technical Excellence Award at PANPA Conference.

 Ink announced the winner of the Technical Excellence Award it sponsored at this year's Pacific Area Newspaper Publishers' Association (PANPA PANPA Pacific Area Newspaper Publishers' Association ) Conference, which was held in Australia at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Ross Booth, segment manager, news ink, Flint Ink India/Pacific, presented the Technical Excellence Award for newspapers printed on a double-width press using up to four webs to The Beleconnen Chronicle during the Norske Skog Norske Skogindustrier ASA or Norske Skog, (OSE: NSG) which translates as Norwegian Forest Industries, is a Norwegian pulp and paper company based in Oslo, Norway and etablished in 1962.  Newspaper of the Year Awards Dinner on the final evening of the conference. This event recognizes the most outstanding newspapers in the Pacific region.

"We are very pleased to sponsor the Technical Excellence Award at this year's PANPA," said Mr. Booth. "Flint Ink has a long-standing commitment to the news ink business and welcomes opportunities such as this one to spotlight achievements in printing within this industry."

PANPA has close to 190 newspaper members in 14 countries.

In selecting the winner of the award, an independent panel of judges Panel of Judges is an indie pop band from Melbourne, Australia. Members

  • Alison Bolger (Clag, Sleepy Township) - bass
  • Paul Williams (Molasses, Jaguar Is Jaguar) - drums
