Flightglobal Exclusive: Ryanair To Offer $12 Air Fare From Europe to the US.


LONDON -- Flightglobal.com reports that Ryanair is to launch a new transatlantic airline serving the US East Coast offering fares as low as $12.

In an exclusive interview with Flightglobal's sister magazine Flight International, Ryanair boss Michael O'Leary Michael O'Leary is the name of a number of prominent people:

 says that the recent Open Skies agreement The Open Skies Agreement is a recently negotiated treaty between the United States and the European Union. The agreement will allow any European or U.S. airline to fly any route between any city in the EU and any city in the United States.  has made this possible. The agreement allows airlines to operate transatlantic flights without individual national bilateral deals from 2008.
