Greetings from "Down Under"

Recently, I had the pleasure of working as a driver transporting Navy personnel from Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) and Shiloh (CG 67) while in Fremantle, Australia, for a Sea Swap exercise. I was impressed with the character and dignity of all those who took the time to inform this Aussie about their work and the United States. I certainly changed my opinion of the officers and staff from the different areas of the Navy, and I wish to send my regards.

To LCdr. Mike Schultz and Lt. John W. Ingersol: Thank you for all the work you sent my way and for your time answering questions.

To Rose Gregory aboard Lincoln: Thank you for telling me about your home and your off-road truck. One day, my friend, I'll let you drive me around.

To Lt. Chris Maston of HSL-45 on board Fletcher (DD 992): Thank you for the patch. It has been sewn onto a jacket, and I will wear it with pride.

To Darryl from HSL-45: By Crikey, I found a dead Crocodile in me Corn Flakes! (He knows what I mean.)
