At the conclusion of this phase in the program, in the Spring 1997, Raytheon Aircraft Company will select a single subcontractor to provide the entire GBTS products and support.

Raytheon Aircraft's Beech/Pilatus PC-9 MkII aircraft was selected by a joint U.S. Air Force and Navy panel in June 1995. If the contract is fully implemented, 711 aircraft will be built by the year 2017.

FlightSafety International is headquartered at New York's LaGuardia Airport where the company was founded 45 years ago. There are 38 FSI learning centers in the United States, Canada, and France, which each year provide training to over 50,000 pilots, aircrew members, maintenance technicians and aviation personnel. The company operates the largest fleet of full motion, flight simulators in the world.
