FlightSafety also operates the C-5 ATS and the KC-135 ATS for the Air Forces' Air Mobility Command. The C-141 ATS contract is estimated to be worth $30 million over its five year duration. FlightSafety will begin start-up activities immediately and will be performing all aircrew training, training system maintenance and operation, and training system upgrade on Oct. 1, 1996 on full motion simulators at five Air Force bases in the United States.
