Fleishman-Hillard in Los Angeles promoted Debra Hotaling to director of the corporate communications practice group. The firm also hired Melissa Robinson as a senior vice president in the consumer brand and entertainment practice group, Brad Chase as an account executive in the corporate communications practice group, Michael Ritchey as senior vice president of the health-care practice group, Jim Hughes as a vice president of the technology practice group, and Manuel Rivera as an assistant account executive in the FH Hispania group. Hotaling was previously senior vice president, Robinson was creative director for the Nintendo of North America team at GolinHarris in Los Angeles. Chase was press secretary for the Steve Young for Congress campaign in Orange County, Ritchey was senior vice president at LehmanMillet in Newport Beach, Hughes was an independent consultant in Los Angeles and Rivera was a congressional staffer for U.S. Representative Grace Napolitanoa in Santa Fe Springs.
