Fleet donates PCs.

In an effort to take technology into underserved communities, FleetBoston Financial has launched CommunityLink, a prototype program, in two neighborhoods--Dudley Square in Boston's Roxbury neighborhood, and the Ironbound section of Newark, New Jersey. The program will expand to other neighborhoods nationwide throughout the year.

CommunityLink provides Fleet customers who do not have PCs with "state of the art" systems, hardware, software, Internet services, and Fleet's HomeLink online banking and bill-payment service--free of charge.

In addition, the bank will provide training and technical help through community technology centers to help program participants learn to navigate the Web.

Both consumers and small businesses are eligible to participate. For additional information, contact your local Fleet bank.
