Fans who saw flamenco flamenco, Spanish music and dance typical of the Gypsy, or gitano. Flamenco dancing is characterized by colorful costumes, intense and erotic movements, stamping of the feet (zapateado), and clapping of the hands (palmada  dancer Ne1ida Tirado in the Harlem Harlem, residential and business section of upper Manhattan, New York City, bounded roughly by 110th St., the East River and Harlem River, 168th St., Amsterdam Ave., and Morningside Park.  E-Moves or Boogie Down festivals, or catch her weekly shows at the hip SoHo clubs N and Suba Suba may refer to:
  • Suba people of Kenya
  • Suba people of Tanzania
  • Suba District, in Nyanza Province of Kenya
  • Suba, that refers to particular province within Pakistan
  • Suba (musician), a Brazilian musician
, should be delighted to learn that the fiery flamenca will perform at Joyce Soho July 17-20. Counting as her influences flamenco stars Eva Yerbabuena Eva Yerbabuena (born Eva MarĂ­a Garrido in Frankfurt, Germany 1970) began her dance career when she was 11 years old. Considered to be a prominent Flamenco dancer of our time, many prestigious awards have honored her work, including Premio Nacional de Danza in 2001.  and Maria Pages, plus ballet and Martha Graham, she will mix traditional moves with contemporary styles in 37 argos. Accompanied by several musicians and a male partner in Delirio, she will demonstrate her power as a traditional dancer. "I love the stage," she says, "because I can get lost in my own world."
