, on July 8 for a summer afternoon in the sun. Collin and his cousin Cory Kaiser, who is three, paddled around the pool on a float, enjoying themselves.

Collin's and Cory's mothers took their eyes off the boys only for a moment before they were alerted by Cory's sister, Kennerly Ann. "He's going under!" she yelled yell

"There are so many fatalities that can be prevented," Collin's swimming instructor, Gail Livingston, told the newspaper. "One story like this is worth my whole 25 years of teaching."
