Five-Time World Triathlon Champion Simon Lessing Signs as Spokesperson for Compex Sport.

Compex Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:CMPX), today announced that five-time World Champion Triathlete Simon Lessing has signed a multi-year contract to serve as spokesperson for the company's Compex(R) Sport, an innovative neuromuscular stimulator that improves muscle size, strength, speed, endurance and muscle recovery for improved athletic performance, training, and physical fitness.

Lessing, who currently resides in Colorado, has dominated the international triathlon circuit for over a decade. His career credits include: four-time World Triathlon Champion (Olympic Distance 1992, 95, 96 & 98), World Long Distance Triathlon Champion (1995), three-time European Triathlon Champion (1991, 92 & 94) and four-time French IronTour Champion (1994-97). This is Lessing's first full-year on the US triathlon circuit. With several races still to go this season, he's won six of 11 races to date, including the Escape From Alcatraz Triathlon, the Monster Triathlon and two ITU points races.

It's Lessing's extraordinary athleticism and training regimen that gives him the ability to win races of any distance and under diverse conditions.
