Five teachers honored by American Farm Bureau.


The American Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture honored five teachers for their exemplary involvement in agricultural literacy in cooperation with the American Farm Bureau Women's Committee. The five winners were selected from a group of 16 finalists. The main judging criteria were their innovative programs to teach students about the nation's food and fiber system, how they expect to use what they learn at the AITC AITC - Academic Information Technology Core (UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute)
AITC - Agriculture in the Classroom
AITC - Alaska Inter-Tribal Council
AITC - American Institute of Timber Construction
AITC - Army Information Technology Conference
AITC - Army Interoperability Test Center
AITC - Association Internationale des Traducteurs de Conférence
AITC - Association of Investment Trust Companies (UK)
AITC - Automation and Integration of Technical Controls
 conference in their classrooms and how they plan to share information with other teachers. American Farm Bureau Federation President Bob Stallman, who spoke at the AITC national conference, presented a plaque commemorating the award to each scholarship winner. The award included expenses, up to $1,000, for each teacher to attend the conference.
