Five Retailers Join GlobalNetXchange as Early Adopter Members.

The retailers include: Ace Hardware Corporation (US), Hornbach (Germany), Manor (Switzerland), Markant (Germany), and Spar (Austria),

The Early Adopter Program was designed to enable retailers and suppliers to join GlobalNetXchange without making an equity investment and to provide them with access to all the products and services available on the exchange. Early Adopter members can immediately utilize the GNX Marketplace auction tool and begin to achieve savings and efficiencies in their procurement process. Members in grocery retailing also have the opportunity to use the GNX perishables solution, Trading Produce. Additionally, Early Adopter members will be the first to use the CPFR CPFR Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment

Since GNX introduced the Early Adopter Program, 11 retailers have joined the exchange as members. Total purchase volume of these Early Adopter members exceeds $60 billion. As GNX celebrates its first year in business, the Early Adopter program will close at the end of February. GNX will continue to invite retailers and suppliers to become equity partners or members of the exchange.
