Five New Styles Released for Spring 2006 Featuring New Lens Technology and Frame Material.

CARLSBAD, Calif. -- Spy is pleased to reveal the release of five brand new sunglass styles for the 2006 spring season.

Three of the new styles, the Bianca(TM), Oasis(TM) and Clash(TM), feature Spy's new 8x4 base ARC(R) toric lens technology. Spy's optically correct ARC(R) toric lenses utilize a high wrap 8 base horizontal lens curve and a low profile 4 base vertical curve. This produces a very sleek lens sheen and progressive appearance when compared to the "bubble" lens look of wrapped sunglasses seen in the past.

Available in three color choices, Bianca(TM) offers a return to massive 1960's Hollywood femme-fatal sunglass glamour. The Clash(TM) is a large, squared-off style with an oversized metal cross logo available in four options including the "Ultra-lux" black frame with bronze lenses and gold accents. The Clash(TM) and Bianca(TM) are sculpted from high quality propionate, a material which offers a smooth, dense finish.

New to the brands selection of frame materials is the resilient and lightweight Epsylon(TM), a very comfortable composite plastic with a high tensile strength allowing for unique hidden hinge systems and sculpted temples. Oasis(TM) and Sidney(TM) are crafted from Epsylon(TM).

The Oasis(TM) is a rare combination of hard angles and organic design that stands out with toric ARC(R) polycarbonate lenses and an integrated hinge system. Spy's Oasis(TM) is available in three colors. Sidney(TM) is the new hot wonder dressed up with custom-built metal temple trim and concave temples and is offered in four frame colors including a Trident(TM) polarized lens option.

The Silvershadow(TM) represents the brand's latest venture in metal. This is a sturdy, oversized American aviator with space-age styling. All three Silvershadow(TM) frame colors are designed with a mirrored lens and complimented with cold-forged nickel silver alloy frame material. The Silvershadow(TM) comes with a custom felt-lined aluminum case.
