Five New Members Elected to the 2005 PMI Board of Directors.


NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa. -- Project Management Institute (PMI See Private Mortgage Insurance. ), the world's leading not-for-profit advocacy association for the project management profession, today announced the names of five newly-elected Members of the PMI's Board of Directors to begin serving three-year terms on January 1, 2005. These five accomplished project management practitioners will join their colleagues on the PMI Board of Directors to map the strategic direction of the Institute for the next several years.

Included in this group of new Directors is incumbent Board Member Louis J. Mercken, PMP See point-to-multipoint and portable media player.

Rounding out the list of newly-elected Directors is Kathleen Stehly, who has more than 10 years experience working in the information technology, finance, retail manufacturing, health, government and nonprofit sectors. Bringing a diverse and rich project management background to the Board, Stehly sits on the PMI Specific Interest Group (SIG) Development and Excellence Committee and was a founding Member of the Retail SIG. She holds a Master's Certificate in project management from George Washington University George Washington University, at Washington, D.C.; coeducational; chartered 1821 as Columbian College (one of the first nonsectarian colleges), opened 1822, became a university in 1873, renamed 1904.  in Washington, DC USA.
