HSBC Finance Corporation is a financial services company and a member of the HSBC Group. Corp.'s (HSBC Finance) ABS Seller/Servicer rating for the origination and servicing of its co-brand/affinity credit cards to 'ABPS/S1-' from 'ABPS/S2+'. The rating is based on the company's experienced management team, effective technology, and comprehensive operational risk management. The rating also reflects the financial strength of HSBC HSBC Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation HSBC Humane Society of Broward County (Florida) HSBC Humane Society of Bay County (Bay County, Michigan) Finance's ultimate parent, HSBC Holdings plc (rated 'AA' by Fitch with a Positive Outlook). Since Fitch's prior review, HSBC Finance has continued to refine its servicing platform through operational and technological improvements, further enhancing the efficiencies and productivity of the company's card services division. In particular, HSBC Finance continues to enhance their analytically driven decision making process for marketing, operations, collections and risk management.
