Among other topics, the international rating agency will discuss the evolution of the primary strategic initiatives associated with mergers as well as detail its rating rationale behind the recent spate of deals.

In conjunction with an update on Fitch's rating views for the firms involved in the latest round of deals, the call will explore the challenges confronting combinations that Fitch believes must be addressed for the combined companies to produce long-term benefits for creditors. Fitch will also discuss the potential for future rating actions related to mergers and acquisitions, as companies use such mergers to expand products and services and broaden geographic reach. The call will be hosted by senior members of Fitch's financial services team, including Jim Moss Jim Moss (b. March 3, 1977 in Toronto, Ontario) is a lacrosse player for the San Jose Stealth of the National Lacrosse League.
