, Fitch fitch: see polecat.  will host a teleconference to discuss the recent debt offering of $1.5 billion by the Republic of Colombia. The teleconference will be led by Fitch analysts Roger Scher and Patrick Kearns.

Fitch expects to rate the Republic of Colombia's $1.5 billion partially guaranteed amortizing notes `BBB BBB

A medium grade assigned to a debt obligation by a rating agency to indicate an adequate ability to pay interest and repay principal. However, adverse developments are more likely to impair this ability than would be the case for bonds rated A and above.
