Fitch Launches New Website for Fitch Argentina/Uruguay.

NEW YORK -- Fitch Ratings has launched a new web site for Fitch Argentina/Uruguay (www.fitchratings.com.ar).

The new site incorporates an expanded research platform with a more user-friendly design. These improvements will enable users to navigate the site more easily to access key Fitch research, including locally issued, Spanish and English language releases and reports including national scale rating actions, criteria reports, Latin America Quarterly Newsletters, and commentaries.

The new Fitch Argentina/Uruguay website will provide a better consultative resource for Fitch activity in Argentina and Uruguay, with links to Fitch web casts and teleconferences, along with sector related research and press releases for Financial Institutions, Structured Finance, Public Finance, Mutual Funds, and Corporates, as well as regional Sovereign updates.

During 2006, Fitch assigned ratings to more than 130 new structured finance deals and published research on more than 50 corporates, 30 financial entities, and 50 mutual funds.

'Fitch is the market leader in Argentina in terms of national ratings for Structured Finance, Corporates and Financial Institutions issuance,' says Lorna Martin, Managing Director and head of Fitch Argentina. 'The local capital market is under constant development, and the information provided by our new local web site is a valuable tool for investors and other market agents, said Martin.

The new Fitch Argentina web site is available at www.fitchratings.com.ar.

Fitch's rating definitions and the terms of use of such ratings are available on the agency's public site, www.fitchratings.com. Published ratings, criteria and methodologies are available from this site, at all times. Fitch's code of conduct, confidentiality, conflicts of interest, affiliate firewall, compliance and other relevant policies and procedures are also available from the 'Code of Conduct' section of this site.
