Fitch originally placed Falabella and D&S on Rating Watch Evolving on May 17, 2007 following the merger announcement by both companies and the subsequent pending analysis of the impact the consolidation of this transaction would have on the credit profile for both companies. The cancellation of the agreement has come after the Competition Tribunal delivered a resolution rejecting it Jan. 31, 2007.
