'In general, ILEC first-quarter 2005 results were very good, with growth remaining strong in wireless, DSL, and long distance services and more moderate switched access line erosion compared to earlier 2004 periods,' said Michael Weaver, Managing Director, Fitch Telecom and Cable Team.
